  • Approximately 50 million tonnes of electronic waste are produced globally each year—equivalent to 8 million elephants.
  • Only 10% of e-waste is properly recycled.
  • SUSTAINABLE FOOD:
  • Replacing half our meat consumption with plant-based alternatives could reduce global greenhouse emissions by 30%.
  • FASHION:
  • Every second, a garbage truck of clothes is burned.
  • If everyone bought just one secondhand garment instead of a new one, it could save 56 kilograms of CO2—the equivalent of driving from Toronto to Ottawa.
  • TRANSPORTATION:

  • Repairing electronics helps reduce waste and keeps items out of landfills.
  • Visit local repair cafes to fix devices and save money.
  • Trade in or sell your old phone to give it a second life.
  • Recycle electronics through certified e-waste programs to ensure safe disposal.
  • SUSTAINBLE FOOD:
  • Eat more plant-based meals like lentils, beans, tofu, and veggies.
  • Choose local, seasonal produce to reduce transport emissions.
  • Plan meals to avoid overbuying and use leftovers to cut food waste.
  • FASHION:
  • Quality over quantity: Invest in timeless, durable pieces.
  • Choose breathable biodegradable fabrics like cotton, linen and wool.
  • Shop at thrift stores or online to give clothes a second life.
  • TRANSPORTATION:
  • Walk, bike or use public transit to reduce pollution.
  • Carpool or choose eco-friendly rideshare options.
  • Switch to an electric or hybrid vehicle.
  • GOT INVOLVED:
  • Spend time researching ways you can fight climate change.
  • Support local environmental groups in tree planting, clean-up events, or raising awareness.
  • Use your voice to lobby for climate action by contacting your local representatives.

Kim Valmeo is a creative strategist who collaborates closely with multimedia artists, content creators, and creative technologists to craft experiences that resonate with the masses. With a foundation in UX, digital transformation, and experiential strategy, she ensures every touchpoint is thoughtfully considered. Her work blends concept and craft, translating insight into meaningful, user-centered experiences.

Ryan Megaffin specializes in motion graphics, with a keen interest in exploring the nuances of branding. Beyond pixels and keyframes, you’ll usually find Ryan in Baulder’s Gate 3 or on the couch watching reality TV with his two dogs and wife.

Patrick Stephen is a 3D artist, photographer, videographer with an eye for thoughtful visual storytelling and impactful virtual experiences.

Max Schramp is an Artist, he studied and works in architecture but has also been a freelance 3D generalist for 8 years now. He’s done everything from album artwork to music videos, to digital worlds and digital chairs.
